Pauly B

Tour Manager

Music has been Pauly B’s life since he decided to leave school at the ripe age of 17 and hit the road as a crew member. Learning quickly to “Make sure you know where your gear is at all times,” Pauly B has spent over 25 years being the backbone of the band and crew on the road.

Timothy Lovett

Creative Director

Tim is a creative director whose work is entrenched in the music industry. Whether it’s live visuals, film clips, designing or branding, Tim considers music as the force behind 99% of his work.

Jock Creer

Music Student

For Jock Creer, it was one trip to Europe that made him realise music was what he wanted to do. After coming back to Australia and completing a course at Ableton Live School in Sydney, the multi-talented Jock threw himself into producing, as well as performing live on the keyboard with his band The Realmers.

Gareth Stuckey

Sound Engineer

As an audio engineer, Gareth Stuckey has seen it all. From quiet corner pubs to packed out stadiums, his desire to constantly be in and around music hasn’t wavered since starting out as a teenager, mixing and recording his friend’s bands with no money and no gear. He got a start with Aussie band Machine Gun Fellatio, and that was it.

Wade Keighran

Producer

After breathing in the atmosphere of music in his dad’s live music venue since the age of eight, it was inevitable Wade was going to end up in the music industry. The self-taught musician currently spends his time between producing music and playing in bands, and has produced songs and albums for the likes of Empire of the Sun, Daniel Johns and Keith Urban.

Maclay Heriot

Photographer

Maclay has the pleasure of being privy to some of the best moments in music photography, thanks to his ability to be both photographer and friend. Preferring the ‘fly on the wall’ approach to documenting what unfolds, he’s able to capture the electric energy of live music as well as he does the quieter moments away from the stage.

Pat Meyer

Guitar Tech

For Pat Meyer, there’s no real switching off from his work at the end of a 9-5 day. His life on the road as a guitar tech with artists such as The Avalanches and Peter Garrett first began when he’d left school. He drove around the country, touring in a van with his friend’s band and quickly realised that he might just be able to make a career out of this travelling thing.

Kane Kvasnicka

Music Fan

A wild at heart music enthusiast, Kane attends every gig with excited fervor. He’s seen some of his favourite acts up close around the world, living in Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, Hawaii and LA, and hitting each music scene with as much enthusiasm as the last.

Marty Doyle

Radio Presenter

Marty is a prominent character in the Sydney music scene, a musical jack of all trades. His immersion in the music industry ranges from radio presenter at community radio station FBi, artist rep, DJ, record collector and organiser of At First Sight, a record fair and all day show held at Carriageworks.

Anthonie Tonnon

Front Man

Front man Anthonie Tonnon has crafted a unique style of performing to incorporate his stellar vocals, guitar and keyboards on stage. Based in Auckland, he’s considered to be one of NZ’s finest emerging talents. In his teens, he was on track to becoming a history teacher until he, by chance, bought a how-to book on learning guitar chords.

Steve Smyth

Front Man

Constantly living and breathing in the world around him, Front man Steve Smyth is a passionate storyteller. His original style and approach to life have led him to bars and festivals across the world, and whether in a 24-hour cafe in Kings Cross or on the streets of Paris, Steve Smyth is at home making music wherever his feet take him.

Alex Nicoli

Stage Manager

Alex moved to Australia from Italy at the age of 19, and started out touring with friends in local hardcore and punk bands just for the hell of it. One band led to another, which eventually led to a job in the crew. Ten years later and Alex has toured as a stage manager all across the world, with bands as different to one another as Angus and Julia Stone, to Bring Me The Horizon.
